HELP!  I am new to the site and could use some help if any one out there has some pics or info on converting  a 71 C10 from a 6 to 8cyl.  My dad bought me my first wheels and it was someone else's unfinished project.  I ordered new engine brackets and mounts, but it appears to line up too far forward and I could use some guidance.  No books we have seem to help out.

Hi all I am new to this site, but I am not new to working on classic cars/trucks
I bult a 55 back in the 60s w/ a 409 in it and it would scream..These days I have been bulding on a 55 chevy truck on a 65 truck frame..just about to get it finished. Put a 283 engine w/ a tourbo 400 behind it. all that is left it get the gear ration changed from a 3-90 to a 3-08 for highway.  Hope every one has good luck with the projects
