i have a 1982 chevy stepside truck and i was wanting to lower the back end and tuck the tires a lil more than they are. i was lookin at the leaf springs and was wondering if i could just put the leaf springs on bottom of the rear end. ? just an idea

What u are talking about is called a "flip kit" and they are avaialable for almost all suspension companies such as bell tech or classic industries
this will lower your truck about 6" or a little more.
if u only want a small drop i would go with a "shackle and hanger kit"(about 4" drop)
check out the advertisers in any truck mag.
