Hi all,

I just picked up a 60's econoline van from a lien sale.  I was told it was a 65, but DMV has it listed as a 62.

Vin is : E14SH357847

Can anyone help me figure out what year it is, and also, which engine?  It's a straight six, just not sure of the size.

Many thanks,
Tony

Did you try this Econoline forum? http://www.ford-econoline.com/forum/index.php You will probably find all kinds of info there! Good luck, and let us know what you find out about that VIN#. John.

I believe the "S" means it's a 144 I6 and the "H" means Lorain Ohio assembly plant I'm trying to find the manufacture date from the number but haven't been able to yet. Hope this helps.

E14 = Econoline van
S = 144 engine
H = Lorain Ohio assembly plant
357847 = November 1962 serial number (1963 model)
