58 Apache

Welcome to the world of 55-59 Truck Nuts! I am one !

The 1958 Chevy was the first year GM used the word Apache on a vehicle!  The 1958 front Hood Emblem measures 31-inches long.  (The '59 model measures 36-inches)

The serial number is located on the driver's door post (they did not call them VIN numbers yet) and it is also stamped into the top frame rail on the driver's side, about at the location of the front shock mount (betwen the steering column and shock absorber)

If you get the number email it to me and I can interpret it for you.

If you have an original V-8 Truck, there will be a "V" in the serial number.

My 2-cents worth.

email me for help with technical or other info and if you need parts, I sell 'em all!
