How easy is it to replace torsion bar suspension on 60 C10? If not replace, upgrade to disc brakes and power steering?
Kid is on a budget, so no exotic stuff, please. Thanks!

I did the same thing on my truck replaced it with the suspension from a 65 c-10 . then upgraded with lowering springs, power steering and disc brake upgrade kit from CPP . the truck looks, drives and stops awesome. Now for the body work and paint. Good luck with your project.P.S. the suspension I got free for hauling the truck out of a field for a local resident, took what i needed and took the rest to a recycle yard and made a couple of dollars. The springs, disc brakes, and power steering set me back about $2500, but what a difference

I got a 78 chevy half ton pickup where I unbolted the front suspension and rolled in under mine and it bolted right in. Had disc brakes and 5 lugs. Got the power steering unit and ordered the install kit and bolted it on.  For the rear, I pulled the axles and had them re-drilled to the front 5 lug pattern.  Done deal and very reasonable.
