Could anyone please tell me the best route to take in converting my front brakes over to disc brakes? I would like to be as cost efficient as possible.
Thanks,
Z

couple different ways could buy an aftermarket kit to bolt on your straight axel like here http://www.hotrodssuperstore.com/512bolcirdis.html

id suggest doing a 04 and later crown vic bolt on k member install its what im planning on doing for prolly 100-200 dollars more you can have a aluminum crossmember disc brakes rack and pinion and ifs.look over at fordtruk.com its a 61-66 ford f100 site some people over there have even done a crown vic frame swap

z ive got an extra k member for sale to upgrade your front end.included is the k member and coil springs.Theres the link and pic of it on ebay.it also has the link on it of the installation and is the same thing im using to install mine.persionally i think its the best ifs ive seen and really in long run its cheaper to do this than to do disc brake kits plus ive been told you can use the stock column and use u joints to hook it to the rack and pinion and i will be attempting this also
