I have a 66 longbed fleet that I bolted a clip from a 73 chev truck. I don't have it on the road yet but it changed out quite easily. One person told me that I might have to enlarge one of the holes on the frame but I didn't even have to do that. The only modifications I did was adding a kit that allowed me to use the power steering off the same truck and then I had to drill holes for the bracket that holds the tierod on the other side of the truck. Its basically just 7 bolts on each side.

where would a person find a "how to" on swapping a front clip on newer trucks to earlier ones?
