Hey guys, I'm working on my 63 short bed again and have one question. I installed a late model 350 engine with 350 auto several years ago. In doing this I had to remove the cross member for the park brake cable attachments. The cross member was directly under the old 3 speed manual transmission. The late model auto would not fit without the removal of this member. Any of you out there figure out a way to mount any other type of cross member to have a working park brake? Sorry for such a long thread, this being my first.

Thanks, Joel
