I am fixing a 1952 GMC pickup with front end leaf springs. I was wondering if someone could tell me if there is a way to lower the front suspention without having to switch to coil springs? Do they make lowering springs for the front?

I am doing the same thing to my 1949 pickup now and it does work but I am running into a problem with my tire hitting the fender when trying to turn.  I have put on the disc brakes but that didn't seem to push it out any at all.  I have 17" wheels low profile front and only 7" wide so they are not very wide but lucky the travel is hardly any in the front of a leaf spring type so I guess it will be ok?  Any suggestions from someone who has been there with this little problem?
Thanks,
Clay

we manufacture dropped axles for your 1947-1954 chevy truck. We also carry dropped axles for 1955-1959 Chevy, 1948-1952 F1 Ford and 1953-1956 Ford F100. Our axles drop the truck 3 full inches and we recommend that the installer remove 2-3 small springs for a better ride and an additional 1 inch drop. Check out our website at http://www.cenpen.com for axle info or email me-WORM
