I am going to look at a 1967 Chevy camper special and was wondering what I should look for in problem areas. What I know about it is that it has a 283 and a four speed on the floor the body is supposed to be good one hole in the rocker area where the battery is(what I am told) The trucks been in the guys driveway for aout 10 years it was originally from out west. He said it has a spicer rear end under it and the 283 is smoking some. he is firm on a $1200 price. He also said it has a factory wood bed underneath the camper. The engine doesnt bother me to much I like to build them anyhow. Just want to look for major problem areas... would this be a 3/4 ton or a 1/2 ton?
