53'Ford F100 , Channeled 5" to wrap around chassis, Front end w/disc brakes from crown vic and also 8.8 with control arm suspension from crown vic.
It is dubbed the Shelby F100 , have a stroked out 306 smallblock with a AOD behind it with a 2.73 rear gear.. we should get some wicked MPG. it is being built to be driven anywhere but yet be economical to repair and build, and drive. we are using as many factory ford parts as possible but yet have as much performance as we can.
we are dropping the front floor pans to get more vertical leg room to make a bit more comfortable, and we are installing a recessed firewall to set the motor back a few inches to get a better balance. oh ya, we also lengthened the wheel base 4" "we did this well before the latest f100 project did"lol. sorry.
pics will be avail. soon as we are taking them as we go and will have them on a site soon. thx.

I have been working on my '66 Chevy for about a year. I had the cab and box off the frame and did the suspension upgrade, as well as c-notched the frame. I also had to do some frame repair. I put new floor pans, footwell sheetmetal, and inner rockers on the cab. I made a short video Nov. 20, 2007, I thought some might like. It's a burnout in my driveway. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DdwayNGwDN4 I still have most of the body work left to do, but at least it's licensed and driveable now.
