My 60 Chevy Truck has a 350 motor with a 3 speed tranny.  I would like to install a T-10 4 speed but it seems like the Hurst shifter will be too low in relation to the floor and will come up under the seat. The shifter mounts to the tail of the tranny.  The 3 speed that is in it now has the shifter mounted on a special bracket that won't work with a 4 speed.  Has anyone done one of these swaps?

The shifter you need is a hurst comp-plus. the part no. HUU3910002  The installation kit {all necessary hardware, linkage rods, bushings, clips} part no. is HUU3738609  The boot kit is part no.HUU114829   I just got off the phone with SummitRacing  This set up is for chevy/gmc trucks. the stick {handle} will kick forward, up then back to work with your bench seat. I just did the homework for you, now all you have to do is call SummitRacing at 1-800-230-3030 and of course pay dor it all. Good Luck
