Hi Fellow Truckers, I have a doozy of a question. I intend to put a '75 1/2 ton front suspension (complete with cross member) and rear end in my '62 Chevy. Now I'm stuck for what mounts to use to put the motor-tranny in with (350-350). Do I use the old factory I-6 mounts, the one's from the '75 or do I have to fab my own. Bear in mind I'm on a zero budget and I use only what I can beg, borrow or "borrow". So any help would be greatly appreciated by this cheap SOB. Thanx

What engine was in the 62? And if a V8, use those to bolt to top of frame and cross member. I believe the six cylinder mounts and V8 mounts in the 62 were the same (except the 292, which were offset). Not so sure about the 75 model. My have to do more research
