i have an old f100 thats in nice shape needs work here and there, the transmission is shot and same for the clutch it hates shifting gears and is hard to shift, is that normal for the f100?? its getting better the engine doesnt run(??) unsure on that hasnt been started in 2 or 3 yrs, the chrome is bubbling where it says f100 on both sides, as for the bumper it has scratches but not too deep, i think a buffer would kill these birds. obviously needs some work on a scale of 1-10 i would give it a 6.7, paint is rusty but mainly on the hood, it needs an overhaul but its really not as bad as it sounds, the chrome i've been polishing the interior still shines and the engine looks cleaner the air intake looks better. it was so loud back in the day that it would actually set off car alarms.

You didn't specify what year your truck is, but if you've owned it for a long time and the tranny is worse than it used to be than I'd replace it. If it's always been hard to shift maybe you have a non-syncro truck trans in it for some reason that requires double clutching. A regular 3 speed F-100 tranny should shift ok...maybe look into adjusting the clutch/replacing it before getting too carried away.
