I have a 66 stepside, been in my family since new. My grandfather bought it new and then passed to my dad, then to me when I turned 16.
My dad restored the truck back in "89 but put alot of bondo in the truck and needs a good restoration again. It was a inline 6 with a 3 on the tree. Now has a 305 V8 with the 3 on the tree.
So this is my plans for the truck I will be putting a 5.3 liter V8 along with a 4l60e tranny. Pretty much just a take out of a wrecked truck. I want to use the truck to trailer my Trans Am to the drags and a drive anywhere truck.
I am looking for a fiberglass hood for it. I seen one a while back that was a cowl induction, cant remember the company's name. anyone know who makes them?
here is a picture of the truck as of now
