NO not with out changing all the box and cab mounts to match your 63 mounts. The best is to put the 79 crossmember in the 63.7 bolts on each side you can do it in a afternoon. get new spring perches from CPP or Brothers and put the 79 rear in your 63. They also have the lowering kits or just lower springs for the 63.The coils springs are a better ride then the leafs springs, and its the same setup used in NASCAR.GOOD STUFF
Other than that the frames are the same and the 79 is no heaver or stronger.
