Hey all just wanted to stop in and say hey.  I just purchased a 67 C10 Fleetside from a good friend of mine and I will be slowly restoring it.  The truck has some cancer, well, quite a bit actually.  Newer engine and tranny.  It has been converted to a 5 lug disc brake and automatic transmission.  The engine is entirely Edelbrock 350.

I'm supposing the carb needs adjusted because it runs strong in idle but when I drop it into R or D it dies, am I correct on this?  Like I said, I'm a rookie and just looking for some help.  Thanks guys.

In park it should idle about 600 to 750 rpm. When in D or R it should idle down to no less than 550 rpm. Adjust the curb idle screw (by the thottle cable)to attain desired rpm.

68 chop  top 327 5 speed Stereo and AC. A real hot rod has a clutch. Anyone can modify it BUT it takes a real man to chop one up. See my truck in Reader's Ride and vote on it!
