Hello, new here to these forums and im looking for some input. The FD i run with has a 1970 ford 250 sport custom pickup as their brush unit, they bought it new back in 70 and it is now being considered for retirment due to strict guidlines the NFPA is handing down. The truck its self has only 6721 miles on it( drove it today) and is almost 100% origional in fact this past week i just changed out the org. plugs, wires, belts, hoses etc. We are not sure what is going to happen with it whenit does finally gets retired whether to sell it, or build a room all for itself. so what im in search for is some opinions on what it might actually be worth?? the low down below...
1970 ford f250 sport custom 360 cid 4 spd tranny 4x4 6721 miles Org. org. paint LineX bed liner (color matched)
not sure what else to put really...personally i think this thing is about as clean as it gets, ive been over under in and out on this truck and its clean very few and i mean few imperfections. Obviously lights and thing would be removed ( no holes! ) and we also still have the Org. tailgate in storage not sure on Org. rear bumper though... well, let me know what you think...thanks for your time.

What do you want, the actual retail value, or a figure to offer for it? Just me, but I'd think it would bring far more than 5 grand, possibly top 10 grand. You're basically looking at a new truck there.

Look at Nada Guides- it shows high end of about $18,000 but it'll bring more than that. My '71 F350 has 50,000 miles & is worth around $20,000.
