New to this site. I have a '66 Mercury M-100 (Canadian version of the F-100) I'm building it on a very tight budget and need to replace the rear brakes. The previous owner had taken the drums off without telling me and as I towed it home, the rims proceeded to rip the brakes to bits. I was wondering what years of ford trucks will be a direct bolt on swap for the rear brakes on my truck. It's straight manual brakes with no booster. I'm hoping to go to a junkyard and take off everything I need from a donor vehicle there. Please help, I need this truck on the road soon.

Just take the rear drums off any of the newer year's Ford Pickups or vans with the same wheel bolt pattern. Most has 11" x 2-1/2" brakes, the same brakes were carried on into the 8.8 rears and used til the 96 model year.
