Classic Trucks Under Cover

I'd like to see a new magazine devoted to all trucks or even trucks and rods that are under construction.  Not rat rods, not cover cars, not show cars.  Just projects that are under construction by pro shops, little shops and regular Joe's.

I would venture to guess that most (or at least a good portion) of the readership of Primedia publications are people who have incomplete vehicles and truly enjoy seeing the underwear of vehicles rather than the outerwear.  The tech articles are never enough in the regular issues.  And who needs a lot of color.  The black and white photos really set off the frame shots.  Save the color for the feature trucks that have powder coated or painted frames already. The article "Garage Scene" pg 44, October 2007 issue of Classic Trucks is a primedia example.  The article lead could even be the magazine name??   "GARAGE SCENE"  The multi-part tech article about Mike Crimaldi's '53 F-100 would go great in the magazine also.

Just an idea.  Maybe a link to an online poll in an upcoming issue?

by the way i also like to see more projects to inspire me more.

Thanks for the input, and by the way the editors do read and through the forums.

Sounds like a real darned good idea to me too! I recently finished a 12 year project myself. It was one of the winners of the February R O T M contest, that sadly has seemed to have passed by the wayside.  Garage Scene would be the perfect name for the publication. Lets go for it mag editors. 1-2-3 Gooooooo!

It's a great idea, but I'm not sure how well a magazine like that would sell. People seem to like seeing the finished products, although it would be a nice bonus for the websites if in addition to the standard they showed some of the images from the build.
