I HAD A 1960 235 BLOCK REBUILT AND I PUT IT INTO MY 48 CHEVY PICKUP. I THINK THE BLOCK WAS OUT OF A 47 CHEVY CAR. THE MOTOR WENT IN FINE AND EVERYTHING SEEMED OK UNTIL I TRIED TO HOOK UP THE THROTTLE LINKAGE...
THE PIVOT POINT OF THE THROTTLE LINKAGE ON THIS NEW MOTOR IF MUCH MORE TOWARDS THE FIREWALL THAN THE PREVIOUS MOTOR. I CANT SEEM TO FIND THE CORRECT LINKAGE AND HAVE BEEN HAVEING SOME TROUBLE MODIFYING IT. TO COMPLICATE IT MORE I ADDED FENTON HEADERS. IT SEEMS LIKE AN EASY FIX, BUT I AM MISSING SOMETHING.
ANY IDEAS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

Just install a flex cable, or you can get one from a salvage yard, it will work much better then those rods always out of wack. wrench
