i am new to this website i own a 66 ford short bed with a 352 and 4 on the floor.  it is really dilapidated and ready to be restored. i have been thinking about some cragars and a mustang trans with a 390 or a 298 any other ideas would be appreciated  

i just wrote you a long descriptive reply but it craped out [so here i go again  did 2 full restos [65 1/2-[67-250 ] ok long story -short> back in 1980 re>65 "camero -killer"!!390-330 hp.68> california special mustang c6  +shifting consul sweet between 2 mustang bucket seats/3.25 hy. geared "not for pulling stumps  but you could if you wanted blaster!!    did cab of frame   fl.boards /mounts fenders/ rust points ect. [first install c6+390 as one unit  "no struggle"  onto [preped frame much easier, then put cab on all in one day if your set up +good prep and help !!ps dive shaft is shorter on re> to " c6 " +will  have to reset cross member for c6 !/and strap down motor and hold on for dear life on blast off ps ." thanks for the memmory "[66 re enjoy call any time have fun !
