Greetings all.

I have just picked up my first Chevy pick up, a 1965 Fleetside.
I bought this car a few months ago and it arrived here in Norway a few days ago.
My plan was to sell it off asap. But, as most of You know, plans are made to be changed. I think I will keep it.
This vehicle has power steering, disc brakes up front, hardly any rust, a 350 engine with headers and th-350 transmission.

First of all.
The kickdown function is not working at all, does anyone have a clue? My first thought is the kickdown cable.

Second.
Ricky or Rocky in OK installed a steel bedliner, Is it original with steel-liner or did these cars come with woodliners as the original option.

Third.
The engine fires up on the first crank when cold. When warm, I have to run the starter for at least 30 sec's before it starts. Is that normal on this carbureted engine?
Do I need a tuneup?

Four.
Widshield washer fluid. Where is the fluid tank supposed to be located? Did they come equipped originally with a washerfluid tank?

Fifth.
The fuel tank behind the seats is removed, instead Ricky or Rocky in OK, installed a fuel tank which seems to be somewhat homemade under the frame all the way to the rear, it is not snugged up and between the frame but rather mounted straight on the lower frame. I have to bend over, after I have looked around to make sure it is safe, and then fill up the tank from under the left rear wheel well. Not really a good option.
I have seen a conversion at classicparts.com which would fit up and in between the frame. Is this a good option or do You know about another nice and safe option?

Besides that I want to say thank You, Ricky or Rocky in OK, for a job well done and also happy summer to all of You. I wish You all a splendid summer.
