I'm in the process of finishing wiring my truck. I added a 327 and swapped the carb for TPI. I also installed a set of bedee 5" guages. I hooked up the speed signal sender (3 wires, black, red, & white) over the weekend but noticed that the TPI harness has a two wire hookup(grey & yellow I think) thats supposed to be spliced into the speed sensor. Can anyone tell me which wire goes where?

The speed sensor for your bedee guages may be using a different type of speed sensor than what is used for the tuned port and the sensor is not compatable. I would contact bedee to make sure. If using the factory computer for the tpi, I believe the only thing it uses the speed sensor input for is the tourque converter lockup, and is not needed (depending on what tranny your using). it will set a trouble code, but should not cause any drivability problems.

what year and model is the TPI off of? Are you using the same computer? and did it originally have the 700r4?
