I am 18 with access to a 56 chevy truck 3200. My only issue is its a long bed. Everything else is great. I would like to keep everything original, but wanted some input on swaping the frame for a short bed. I know long beds are not as popular and It's all personal preferance. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appriciated. Matt

You don't have to change frames to get a short bed. You can cut the frame you have. Long beds are 20 inches longer then a short bed. You shorten the frame 12 inches in front of the rear tire and just cut off 8 inches in the rear.
