Hi,

I am looking at an old Apache to buy for fun.  What are the problem areas to look for that typically rust on these trucks?  I have zero knowledge about the old trucks but like the Apache style.  I know that I want to install power steering and need some guidance of what parts or system I can buy somewhere.  This is a 1 ton truck with a stepside box and a 4 spd.  It will cost me about $2000 to buy.
What should I be looking for to make sure it is worth buying?  

IF YOU ARE LOOKING A CO-WORKER HAS A 61 APACHE FOR SALE GOOD CONDITION. IF YOU WOULD LIKE I CAN GIVE YOU HIS NUMBER NEVER SEEN THE TRUCK BUT SOUNDS LIKE IT IS CLEAN.
