I have a 56 Chevy Truck.  I am about to  acquiring a 1994 Z-28 and swapping the LT1, the 4L60E trans. and the rear end into the truck.  What wiring harness?   Do I need the ECM reprogrammed?   If so, who?  Anyone know what other issues I will run into?    Motor mount location?  Will I have issues with aftermarket gauges?  Any advice would be appreciated.    Thanks for your help, Torrey

You could try our sister site GM High-Tech Performance, they work more with modern day cars and may have the answer for your wiring harness question.

You can get a wiring harness from Howell engine development Inc.
are from painless wiring but Howell has a better price. Howell can reprograme your ecm. I used my stock radiator and I used engine support from CPP. I still have my straight axle. I plain on adding a IFS latter. I used a 4l60e also. The wiring harness works for the engine and transmission. You need to use everything from the Z-28.
I hope this helped
