Hello,

I just purchased 1949 Ford F-1 last week.  Nice and rusty. This is my first project, and I am very excited!  While disassembling my truck, I have encountered few troubles so far and you guys can help me.

1.Rear fender is extremely bad shape.  I cannot find a replacement for f-1.  LMC nor NPD.  Can I replace with F-100 fender??   Any online stores that I can go to??

2. the truck has tones of old, rusty, stuck bolts that I just can't get out…Any techniques or suggestions.

3. Is there any easy way to remove doors??  I just cannot remove old rusty bolts!

Thank you!

congrats on the new project.  first, get a dennis carpenter catalog.  second the trick with rust is patience.  get a product like nutz-off or any rust remover.  Hell even wd-40 will help, (not lots, but it will help) Put lots on one night let it soak, then a lil tapping the next day, and add more solution.  be patient, and keep doing it.  you'll get it just fine
