can anyone tell me how to identify the difference between a 292 and a 250 v6 motor?I bought a 1970 chevy c10 and i can find any markers on it that would identify it.thanks

1st, 194, 230, 250, and 292 are all from the same engine family, all of which are inline motors, NOT V motors.

292 side covers are taller than the others, but I don't recall the correct dimensions.
