I am restoring 1940 Ford Pickup. Kept the 6 volt and generator system. Restored instrument and gauge cluster with all new wiring harness and regulator. Problem: As soon as ignition is turned on, the batt. needle goes all the way to the right and stays there. Even after the engine is started it won't move from that position until the ignition is turned off. HELP !!!!
