what kind of shape is your old grille in?  My 51 was never available with chrome grille, but the old one wasn't in bad shape.  I sandblasted it, bolted the bullets into the correct alignment, welded them on, smoothed the seams, and sent it out to the chromers.  just make sure you send it at the same time as you send in your other chrome to be done, otherwise there is a potential for miss-matched chrome.  (looks as bad as miss matched paint).  good luck and let us knwo what you did.  

MY GRILLE IS SHOT, I CAN PURCHASE A NEW ONE AND HAVE IT CHROMED, BUT I HAVE SEEN MY YEAR TRUCK WITH CHROMED GRILLES BUT DIDN'T WRITE DOWN THE COMPANY THAT THEY PURCHASED FROM. ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO I HAD A CATALOG THAT HAD THAT GRILLE IN IT AND MY CATALOG GOT IN SOME SPRING CLEANING AND IS GONE.
