Hi y'all
Does any know the weight of a 1959 235 straight six? I'm doing a 350 tbi swap and was wondering which engine was heavier. The 235 seems like a boat anchor lol. The 350 is a 1988 stock setup. I figuered that at about 500lbs give or take 50lbs.
Any help or info on this would be great.

I don't know what the acual weight is but I do know that they are hever then the V8 like about 50 to 100 lbs.

Thanks for the info. I hope this swap is not too much of a headache. I'd love to use the original tbi harness. Everyone seems to be advocating the painless harness, but time will tell.
