50 Frame swap to 80 Camaro Questions

I have not bought this truck yet, but have read the 80 Camaro subframe is too wide. I have had a couple of folks say they do work but would be easier to lower with an older Camaro frame. Has anyone got any ideas on the 80 Camaro subframe on a 50 Chevy? The work is already finished on this truck and it is nearly completely assembled at this point. If anyone has any pictures of this setup, I would really like to see it. THanks LJeffe2872@aol.com

Thats right all you guys should use the S10 frame, actually everyone should use them , then go ahead and send me every original frame you have because I love'em. Since so many people do these swaps they should donate them to HELP THE SPECIALIST FUND, they 'll go to a good cause and also help me with my theropy ARA(Addicted Rodders Anonymous)

I got three stacked in my shop right now. one someone chopped up to put in a V8, one that has fed the rust monster for most of its life, and one that is in great shape considering it was found in a field with a full sized tree growing thru it.
say what you want, but if you break down on a road trip see if NAPA can get you that 51 truck part faster than the S10 parts. LOL

Actually I totally agree with you, but I didn't tell you the full truth. I do want the frames but I actually scrap the rest, the I-beam does make a support bar for a block and tackle and the diff makes a good boat anchor and the leaf springs make a good rocking chair base. Anyway stack'em if you need cause thats how I ship'em. C/O the Specialist, Southern California.
