Hello, I need to find the engine number and the chassi number of a 1952 Ford F1 truck. It is completely disassembled at my grandfather's house garage... Do you know where these numbers were printed on this vehicle? I'm starting to reassembly the truck. Thank you.

There will be a number stamped into the driver's side frame rail (on top). close to were the steering box is located.

I also have the 1952 model,,,I found my VIN on the passenger side, top of rail near the front shock mount.  Must have been the Richmond, VA plant where it was assembled on a Friday!  =)  It was obviously hand stamped and was a little tough to see until I had the frame sand blasted due the rust and corrosion from the battery that sat above.  Good Luck!
