1961-1966 are the years of the "Slick".

Fleetsides are all over the place also. I own a 64 and it was the wood bed stepside, I CANNOT find one except for new online. LMC.com or it might be LMCTRUCKS.com has them (new) and so does truckandcarshop.com, $1650 @ LMC and $1250 @ truckandcarshop.com. I don't think I saw the fleetside though but, if you have the money it's worth the look. Rick

Found my bed, $300.00 in an old salvage yard 60 miles from where I live. It has some rust, no holes but, no tailgate. The tailgate w/o ford on it is $89 new and $25 for chains. I want it plain so I can have it airbrushed w/pic of my truck when finished.

The 1964 f100 was the first year for the Styleside bed..., also the stepside is called a flairside by ford. Chevy called there beds fleetside and stepside.
if you look hard enough you can find one. you need 1 from a 64-65-66, these are the only years that will fit and be correct.
Good luck.
