56 chevy panel 3100 frame swap

i saw posts on here where stripetech said he used an 83 chevy 1/2 ton frame for a swap on a 55-58 chevy truck and how it was a pretty straight forward process. i was wondering if i could use an early 80's chevy 1/2 ton frame for my panel. looking for cheapest easiest route for power brakes, ifs, and power steering, any info would be greatly appreciated! thank you for your time!
