Trying to locally sell a 1965 Chevy C10 Longbed...530 ci./4spd transmission. The body is in great condition..no dents no wrecks..the interior is nice. It doesn't run..was originally bought with the idea that it would either be a parts truck or I'd swap the engine out since the body is in such good condition. It would make a great restoration project but I don't have the time or knowledge to do it. I'm trying to come up with a reasonable price to ask for it. I don't want to ask more than it's worth but I also don't want to take less than it's worth. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey DawnW,

A couple of months ago I purchased a drivable '66 C-10 Longbed Fleetside for $1000.

Body had rust in all the usual places and I've already got about $3000 tied up in stuff from Ididit, American AutoWire, LMC and the list is still growing.  But, I've seen some real pieces of junk, without an engine anywhere for $2 - 6K.

So, I'd say check what's on www.craigslist.org in your part of the country and price it accordingly....

Good Luck.

66BowTieBoy your so right with people selling crappy truck for 2-6k for non running POS with a lot of rust damage. I guess people are just trying to scam people who don't know much about classic trucks. So be safe out there everyone.
