The way I did it was to remove the front and rear cab mount bolts from one side only then remove the radiator support mount bolt on the same side of truck (this is important if the front clip is still in place and aligned) LEAVE ALL THESE MOUNTS IN PLACE AT THIS TIME, your just removing the bolts.

Now loosen the three bolts on the other side of truck (this will allow you to move the cab up slightly without it shifting).

Return to the side with the bolts you removed and carefully jack the cab up using blocks of wood to spread out the weight, start just behind the forward cab mount and try jacking SLOWLY AND JUST ENOUGH TO SLIDE OUT THE MOUNTS. Now you can slide the new ones into place and replace the bolts hand tight. On the drivers side be careful of the brake hard lines to the master cylinder, loosen a few clamps or the master cylinder bolts slightly. You should only have to move the cab and front clip up about 1/4 to 3/8 inch this will not adversly effect any thing else connected between the cab/clip and frame.

I would highly suggest replacing the radiator support mounts too because they are probably worn as bad as the cab mounts and this mount is critical for front clip positioning. Be sure to get 69-72 mounts for the radiator support, 67-68 are different.

                Hope this helps----good luck
