I picked up a 64 ford f100 custom cab, planned on just reselling it but the more I mess with it the more I think I may just hang onto it and fix it.  I have researched the net but not finding a lot of info (to my surprise)

I am curious what, if anything is special about the custom cab?

Also curious if the paint schemes were all two toned or if it was a solid color

Any help appreciated!

the custom cab option was all the chrome and alumnium trim on the truck

most of them have the stainless trim around the windshield, alumium trim down the sides, around the tail lights, the Grill was alumium... trim on the dash and around the door panels and around the door frame holding the headliner top and side pieces on, they have a perforated headliner, some have chrome bumpers.   not all trucks were two tone paint scheme some like mine were solid colors,  there is a site called Slick60's... it only covers 61-66 ford and Merc trucks.  is your truck a style side or flar side?
