In the spirit of "Finish what ya started", I'm glad to see this project is making great progress even though the deadline for it was months ago.  What gets me is that I haven't read a single word about the competition's project for quite some time.  Are you guys still gonna line 'em up or have they fallen to the way side?  Any way, Grant, your '68 Ford Bumpside project has inspired me many times to stay focused on my '71 Chevy.  Thanks for the great tech articles. Even though you are building a Ford, my C10 project has come to life once again!

CCT's Project Get Shorty is moving along quite well. Its not as far along as Grants truck but all the body work should be done soon.

Actually I was refering to Jon Gilbert's truck he was building up of the same '67-'72 Ford era. He kept refering to it as the "Bulletside Build-off" instead of the "Bumpside Build-off".  I think he had a 302ci and a 4 speed with a gear vendor overdrive.  If I remember right, he was going for a gasser look. Not that I'm saying anything about his project, but it just seemed to fade away.

Don't know what is going on with that truck. In the August issue that comes out July 21 there is no mention of it at all.

Does anybody know how Grant is doing the fuel system for the truck?  I am doing something similar but with a 2v motor not a 3v.  I am having a hard time figuring out the fuel system and he has not posted anything about this system.  I am wondering if he is using an in the tank fuel pump or external and if he is going back to the original system of no return line and if he is using the fuel pump module that the original vehicles had.  Just wondering

There hasn't been an article on it yet so I am just assuming he hasn't gotten to it yet. I don't think they would forget to document something like this.
