Are you going to go with power steering or not?

I am going with a total cost involved ifs front suspension with a sway bar and disc front brakes. For the rear a tci 4 link on a ford 9 inch rear end. I have opted for the power steering rack and pinion. I realy dont want this truck slammed to the ground. From what I understand is the ifs will lower the front about 4 inches and the 4 link rear will lower the rear about 3 inches, will I need to c notch the frame? I want to keep the ride height similar to stock. I wont mind dropping it a few inches but nothing drastic. Any input on the parts I have chosen would be great.
Thanks Mark
