has anyone out there put headers on a 67-72 with a 3pd saginaw column shift?  I want to run full length headers, but i'm not sure they will fit.  I might convert this truck to a floor shift (hurst floor shift conversion)  if i convert to floor shift will the headers still hit the clutch linkage?   thanks.

I have a 1965 C10 which I tried for a long time to find a set of full length headers that fit with the stock 3 speed on the tree linkage . I was told there was such an animal but I had no luck finding it ? So I went with a set of " shorty's " and had a new exhaust system hooked to them . I'm sure there's some difference between a '65 and a '70 model but I'm sure you'll find your answer somewhere . Just thought I'd share my experience with you .

We just placed these on a 1970 C10 which orignally had a 3 speed on column and now on the floor. I also had problems locating a set but finally found these, which took some very minor heat modification to work.

Beware of the photo on site, it is misleading. Not the ones you receive.

thanks for the responses.   I'm sure someone will find the information usefull.   I have decided since my initial post on this subject to remove my 3spd and install a TH350.  I have already removed the 3spd.   I installed the automatic steering column, linkage and transmission crossmember that I got from a donor truck.  As a side note, my backup lamps, horn and hazard lamps all work (none of these have worked for 15 years)   I got a TCI streetfighter transmission almost new from craigslist.   B&m 2400 stall converter.  I got Headman elite ceramic coated 1 5/8 headers.  when i pulled the engine I was initially going to just reseal and re-ring, but pretty much have done a complete rebuild.   Waiting for my heads to come back from the machine shop. (sportsman heads)   added a comp 274 extreme cam and pete jackson quiet gear drive.   exhaust will be 2.5"   with x pipe and flowmaster 40 series delta flow mufflers.   hope to have the engine back in this week.   lots of little issues to work out when converting from manual to auto.   I had to get a kickdown cable, bracket, and stud to fit my edelbrock carb.   has to get vacuum line for modulator.   I ordered steel transmission cooler lines from lmc.  I  alredy had a heavy duty radiator, so the cooler lines plugged right in.   I know my driveshaft will need to be shortened by about 3"  but the yoke from the saginaw 3 spd is the same as the th350.  I'll post some results when the project is finished.
