hello i  am building a 1960 chevy stepside im in the process of building it i nhave a 6.2 diesel mated to a 700r4 im just seeing wat everyone thinks of it and if anyone has any ideas for me thanks u can either repost on here or message me thanks for ur opinions

I think It will make a nice unique driver.  To make it run good, you need an early 6.5 pump, as they are still mechanical. A set of diesel headers, and unrestrictive exaust will help, too.  

Depending on tire size, I'd shoot for a 3.42 or 3.73 rear gear.

Forget about a turbo. The pump & headers will gain you more. Besides, the 6.2 was not designed for forced induction.

A diesel classic truck would be a nice feature truck for this site. Haven't seen one at all in this magazine.
