hello, my new battery is dead after one day, and now when i am hooking up jumper cables the starter is smoking a bit and the jumper cables are getting real hot? so I cant gt her started now. any help I can get will be much appriciated!!! I dont think I need a new starter cause the truck started right up when the fresh battery was put in but after it drained in a dy the starter now smoking? What would cause the battery to drain so fast? and why cany I just jump start it? Thanks for the help!!!
