Hello....Just trying to finish wiring up my project truck and I got stuck. I don't see the old brake light switch anywhere around the brake pedal. I went and bought a new switch to see if I figure out where it goes, but I think I am maybe missing a bracket for it? Can anybody tell me where the switch mounts to? Maybe you have a pic of where it is installed?

Now I am not sure on that model but my 2 cents may help. Some trucks had the brake switch located on the master cyclinder. They were a pressure switch that worked in conjunction to the fluid pressure.

this model uses the two pin brake switch. I think I am missing the bracket. I will go to my pick and pull and grab one.

Give John Budd a call at 1-330-947-2002 in Deerfield Ohio. I know he has a few of those trucks with the bracket you're looking for, because I'm getting a frame section from one of them. Tell him Smurf from Canfield sent you.

I found out that the switch mounts to a bracket under the steering column. My problem is that I have newer steering column out of a Camaro. I don't have the original column anymore. I guess I will have to find an original column to and modify the bracket to fit my new column.

It sounds like you have your problem figured out and know what you have to do. Now all that's left to do is Git-R-Done. Good luck!
