I bought an IHC truck a few years ago and it came with an old Ford flatbed. Plans for this truck don't included this Ford flatbed. So what I would like to know is how old this bed is. I don't have pictures with me right now, but I can describe it. It is a metal bed with a wood floor and wood stake sides with metal frames. Its 8 feet long with the Ford logo in script. Its really a cool old bed, but I don't know anything about and I have been not having much luck finding any information about it. Hope some one here can help me out.

Thanks
Travis

I had a 1949 Ford F-1 and 1952 Ford F-1 with the factory flatbed .They both had the Ford script on the rear . So I know that that year range had that style. They made a stake side for the 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton. On the pickups the script was last used in 52 on the tailgates. Not sure on the stakes. Is yours a 1/2 ton?
