1954 Chevy 3100 Panel truck for sale-$8,250

350 4 bolt engine, Edelbrock manifold, Edelbrock 4 bbl. carb. 1 wire alternator. 350 tranny, 12 bolt Chevy Chevelle rear end. 1950 black California Commmercial plate with 1954 tab. This truck has been to Idaho and back twice with no problems. Obviously at this price it needs some items taken care of. Grill needs rechroming, front fenders have small dents, still has stock front end with leaf springs and 6 lug wheels; rear has 5 lug wheels. Paint is old Helms truck yellow and fading.  Right door window has crack, front window has crack. Steering is tight as I replaced the steering gear box. Stock brakes. Good tires. Shocks were all replaced 2 years ago with high quality gas shocks.

If you were to add a front independent suspension and power brakes it would cost you $3,500-$8,500, depending on your level of experience but would really make this truck a great ride. Yes, the registration is current to Nov 2009.

 

Am looking for a 54 - yours looks promising. Do you have any additional pictures and can you tell me what condition of body is in general - rust? missing parts? etc. Also how good is the interior? Pics? Whereabouts in Idaho are you? I am going to Spokane soon and wouldn't mind getting a look at vehicle if close.

Nothing is missing, even has back door upper stops.

There is some rust in lower cab corner, outside cab in area of cowl, only at bottom. Not bad, could be welded over, or new reproduction piece welded in.
