I have a 69 Chevy Long bed but has no emblems or nothing to tell me if its a C10 or C20. i researched the Vin but did not get what i needed. I believe it is a 3/4 ton because it has 6 lug wheels, but someone told me that does not matter, that in those years 1/2 tons were made with 6 lug wheels.

If it has 6-lug wheels, it's a 1/2 ton. The 3/4 ton trucks had 8-lug wheels in 69

Smurf hit it right on. For any of the Chevys if it had 8 lugs it's most likely a heavier duty vehicle. Most Silverado are the same way.
