I am looking at doing a disk brake swap on my 65 c10 and I have access to a complete crossmember from a 71-72 c10. Will this work for my truck? Everything I've read says to use a 73-87 crossmember, so before I pay $300 I want to make sure the crossmember will work.

I just installed the front end of a 1985 Suburban under my '64 C-10, like the man said, go for it.  There are two bolt holes that are just a bit out of line, be prepared to drill them out a bit but it's not a problem.
