Can anybody suggest a good donor truck to swap my 1950 GMC body onto?

The folks at ad-engineering.com sells a conversion kit to put your truck onto an S-10 frame at a reasonable price. You'll need a standard cab longbed chassis for best results. With a case of Mountain Dew to keep you wired, you should be able to make the swap over the weekend, providing you don't have a Honey-Do list to contend with also.  GOOD LUCK!

What engine are you going to drop into it? The reason I ask is because Trans-Dapt just made a v8 swap kit for S-10 chassis and I though it might benefit you.
